We are excited to welcome Lillian Teng as Girl Security’s new Chief Technology Officer.

Lillian is a seasoned cybersecurity leader with experience across government, consulting, technology, and finance. She began her career as a Cyber Special Agent with the Naval Criminal Investigative Service (NCIS), tracking government-backed cyber actors across the Middle East and Asia.

After more than a decade in government service, Lillian moved to the private sector, holding senior leadership roles at Yahoo, where she led advanced threat investigations, and later at Capital One as Senior Director of Cyber Intelligence.

Lillian is deeply passionate about community service, sustainability, and expanding access for women and under-represented groups in cybersecurity. She serves on the Board of Directors for Leadership Education for Asia Pacifics (LEAP), the advisory board of the KC7 Foundation and has long been a dedicated mentor and champion for Girl Security.
